How is ice created?Updated 2 months ago

Our Helsi Ice Plunge (Ice Bath) is a quality product that doesn’t use a portable or detachable chiller, but has a built-in refrigeration system.

In a standard setup, water is continuously pumped through the chiller, where the heat exchange happens. That process cools the water but can’t generate ice. In our Helsi Ice Plunge, the heat exchange happens directly through the tub itself. Coils around the tub remove the heat from the water, allowing the walls to get cold enough to actually form ice on the inside surface offering a true 'ice' bath experience.
